Parking is free at Woodwinds and a protected drop-off area for patients is available at the main entry. If you need assistance upon arriving, please ask at the Welcome Center. A phone is also located in the main entry foyer area if you should need to call our Security personnel for help.

Main Entry hours:
Monday - Friday, 5:30 am - 8:00 pm
Weekends/holidays, 8:00 am - 8:00 pm

After hours, please use the Emergency Care Center entrance, which is on the east side of the hospital (facing I-494.)

Smoke-Free Campus
In keeping with our commitment to improve the health of the community, Woodwinds has created a smoke-free campus for patients, visitors and staff. That means that smoking is not allowed on Woodwinds' property, grounds or parking areas.

Driving directions

From Minneapolis and/or St. Paul:

• I-94 East to I-494 South
• I-494 South to Lake Road (approximately 2 1/2 miles)
• Cross Lake Road and proceed straight onto Woodwinds Drive (north)
• Woodwinds Health Campus is located approximately ¼ mile from the corner of Lake Road and Woodwinds Drive
• The Woodwinds Health Campus Administrative Office is located on the first floor of the hospital.

From Mpls./St.Paul International Airport:

• West on Highway 5 to I-494 East
• I-494 to Lake Road (approximately 10 miles) exit Lake Road, turn left (west)
• Lake Road (cross I-494) to Woodwinds Drive, turn right (north)
• Woodwinds Health Campus is located approximately ¼ mile from the corner of Lake Road and Woodwinds Drive
• The Woodwinds Health Campus Administrative Office is located on the first floor of the hospital.

From the South:

• I-35E North to I-494 East
• I-494 to Lake Road (approximately 10 miles) exit Lake Road, turn left (west)
• Lake Road (cross I-494) to Woodwinds Drive, turn right (north)
• Woodwinds Health Campus is located approximately ¼ mile from the corner of Lake Road and Woodwinds Drive
• The Woodwinds Health Campus Administrative Office is located on the first floor of the hospital.

From the North:

• I-35E South to I-694 East
• I-694 will change to I-494 south as it crosses I-94
• I-694/I-494 to Lake Road (approximately 8 miles) exit Lake Road
• Cross Lake Road and proceed straight onto Woodwinds Drive (north)
• Woodwinds Health Campus is located approximately ¼ mile from the corner of Lake Road and Woodwinds Drive
