To help you heal and recover, Woodwinds offers a variety of healing arts therapies that are designed to complement your medical care. Healing arts therapies are also known as integrative therapies, complementary medicine or complementary therapies.

Members of our nursing staff practice a holistic model of care, meaning they recognize the importance of body, mind and spirit in the healing process. Integrative approaches are designed to enhance - not replace - traditional therapeutic measures ordered by your doctor, such as pain medication, exercise and therapy.

Supporting Your Healing Process class
Woodwinds is pleased to offer Supporting Your Healing Process, a free class for patients, their families and the community.

The class focuses on healing arts therapies, including essential oils, guided imagery, music therapy, acupressure, massage and healing touch - both before surgery and during hospitalization. Click here for details and registration information.

Natural Care Center
Woodwinds has partnered with Northwestern Health Sciences University in the creation of an on-campus resource for natural care choices such as chiropractic, acupuncture, massage and naturopathy. The Natural Care Center at Woodwinds features a team of health care providers who work together to help you achieve good health.
