Customer Advocacy
We know that health care today can be confusing. That's why our customer advocates are available to help you through the process.

Our staff has the skills to provide many services, including:

  • Resolution of billing concerns
  • Insurance counseling including coverage options
  • Preparation of Health Care Directives (formerly Living Will)
  • Filing Medicare secondary insurance claims
  • Explanation or justification of insurance benefit notices
  • Help with insurance appeals or denied claims

Care Connection
HealthEast Care Connection provides you with a single point of entry to Woodwinds and the entire HealthEast Care System. We offer easy access to HealthEast services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Whether you want to find a new physician or specialist, need to speak to a nurse about an illness or injury, are looking for a class or support group, or want to be connected to any of HealthEast Care System's services, we are just a call away.

Patient Satisfaction & H-CAHPS
Effective March 28, 2008, you can find out how patients rate their experience at Woodwinds - along with hundreds of other hospitals throughout the country. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has published a report, commonly called H-CAHPS, that summarizes information from patient satisfaction surveys. Find out more.
